Patients are at the heart of everything we do here at MFT. Research
and Development are keen to promote Patient and Public Involvement to
keep patients informed about current Research here at MFT.
We want to give people a chance to have a say in their own care and
treatment and how much they want to be involved in decisions about their
care. We also want to give everyone a say in how we provide services
as well as policy and planning. By getting involved you can give us a
better understanding of your priorities and concerns. You will also get
a better understanding of how we work. By working together we can
develop services that are better targeted, more effective and more
likely to meet the expectations of the people who use them. It also
helps to improve our relationship with patients, carers, relatives,
visitors, organisations and the local community.
